Convert Makasib Points to Oman Oil “Basma Plus” Credit
How to convert
Makasib points can be converted to “Basma Plus” credit by following these steps:
- Step 1: Visit Makasib section on Omantel App.
- Step 2: Select Oman Oil under Convert Points.
- Step 3: Enter your Oman Oil ID that contains 6 digits (Oman Oil ID is found on Oman Oil app).
- Step 4: Enter OTP received by SMS to confirm the registration of your Oman Oil ID.
- Step 5: If you have more than one Basma Plus card in your card, select the card you want to convert the amount to.
- Step 6: Select the number of points you would like to redeem for the desired “Basma Plus” credit

- If you are a Makasib member but you do not have an Oman Oil ID, you need to register through Oman Oil app and get a Basma Plus card.
- Makasib points converted to “Basma Plus” credit will be added as credit to your “Basma Plus” default card, or you can select the desired card if you have more than one.
- Once you convert your Makasib points to “Basma Plus” credit, you will not be able to convert the “Basma Plus” credit back to Makasib points.
- Credit in “Basma Plus” card can only be used to fuel your vehicle.
- Oman Oil’s terms & conditions on “Basma Plus” card apply.
