How to activate Data Booster:

• All prices for the new Baqati plans and add-ons exclude VAT. A 5% VAT will be added to the total price at the time of purchase.
• The new plans are available for both new and existing customers, including those switching from prepaid to postpaid or upgrading from their current plans.
• Once a customer activates a new Baqati plan, they cannot revert to old plans.
• All new Baqati plans are of 12 months Contract (except Baqati 11) if terminated would incurred an early exit fee calculated as per following formula: 2 x monthly recurring charge of your Baqati plan x (remaining number of months of contract / 12).
• All plans would have default PAYG Blocker for Local as well as while roaming.
• Only unused main data from the plan bundle can be carried forward to the next month.
• All Baqati customers will receive a clear monthly bill detailing national and international calls, data usage, roaming charges, and monthly subscription fees.
• Payment is due 30 days from the bill date.
• Bills can be viewed and paid conveniently via the Omantel App.

• The plan bundle data for all new Baqati plans is valid for use across GCC countries, in accordance with the plan’s terms and conditions.
• The new Baqati plans do not include PAYG roaming data, ensuring that customers are protected from any unexpected charges.
• Customers may select from the available Jawazak roaming bundles whenever they require data usage while traveling outside Oman.
• Smart SIM Service: The Smart SIM service is available for all Baqati plans at a monthly fee of OMR 1. Once the Smart SIM data allowance is fully consumed, customers may subscribe to any of the available local data add-ons.
• The out of bundle usage charges are as follows:
  • Price per local SMS is 9 Bz
  • Price per International SMS is 50 Bz
  • Video calls made over the mobile network will consume data from the plan’s main data bundle or any active local data add-on. Voice minutes used during video calls will be deducted from the plan’s included voice allowance.

• All customers can join the new Baqati plans, whether they are moving from Hayyak to Baqati, joining new customers, or upgrading from their existing Baqati portfolio.
• When converting a prepaid line to a Baqati plan, any existing balance will be added to the account and will be deducted from the total bill once it is generated.
