Building an interconnected technology startup ecosystem in Oman
Through our partnerships with government, corporations, investors,
technology partners and academic institutions, we are committed to building
an interconnected technology startup ecosystem in Oman.
The ecosystem will serve as a community that supports its stakeholders in sourcing expertise,
accessing value add events and leveraging its brand positioning for exposure.
Community Hackathon
A 3-day hackathon where participants will have the opportunity to learn how to apply technology, solve problems, how to do business and communication skills in real-life situations. They will also learn how to build their own business from the ground up. This includes team formation, reasoning, business models, financial models, and promotional tools.
Interactive Camps
Interactive camps that introduce participants to the basics of entrepreneurship along with the technical skills required to turn their ideas into practical models. Through these camps, participants will be able to deep-dive into a topic, consider entrepreneurship as a viable career option, build their network and learn from global experts.
Workshops
Free workshops led by highly experienced international mentors on essential topics for students, entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs. Topics will range from building ideas for startups to investor relations.
Student Visits
University students are regularly invited to visit the Omantel Innovation Labs to meet our startups and our team, and understand the offerings of the Omantel Innovation Labs.
